Why I love this wedding photo - long range portrait at Minstrel Court
“Go high, go low, go near, go far” is a phrase I had drummed into me when I began my career shooting press photography work - but this approach also bears fruit when applied to weddings, such as this great long range portrait taken at Kelli & Tom’s Minstrel Court wedding.
I set the couple up on the bridge by the lake, then took myself down to the far end of the lake to shoot through the reeds. As you can see it makes a strong wedding photo and something different to go alongside all the more close up photos you would also take during the wedding day.
Add in some fantastic light and you get the whole package! If you are planning a Minstrel Court wedding drop me a message and we can discuss all of your wedding plans!
